This photo is from my one and only visit to Rome in summer of 2003 and taken with my Nikon N90 using…….film. I recently went through the process of scanning the hundreds of photos we had taken during the duration of the trip. In the process I glammed up a couple for printing by digitally inserting some blue skies from one shot into several in which the sky had blown out. I was pretty happy with the results overall!

Rust and blue collar industry pretty much sums up all of Pennsylvania. Really the only thing missing is a blast furnace.
Watched this turtle crossing the dirt road near my grandfather’s farm a bit ago. Every time I turned away he’d crawl fast, but when I would look back to take a photo, he’d tuck up into his shell. Not sure where he came from or where he was going, and have no idea where that wet moss came from either! As you can see, there is nothing around there.
