We were lucky enough to get a tour of some of the off limits areas of the Battleship Texas on a recent visit. In addition to seeing some of the areas accessible by hard hat tour we got a glimpse at many areas that are not, nor will be, open to the public. We saw some amazing things, many lit only by a single flashlight.

Had an opportunity to take a brief photo walk in the Heights on one of our recent balmy 104 degree mornings. Here’s a pair of photos I snapped in the midst of all the sweating.
Had a chance to photograph the proprietors of Cornelius Farmstead while doing some bee keeping. Without question one of the coolest things I’ve gotten to see.
