This photo is from my one and only visit to Rome in summer of 2003 and taken with my Nikon N90 using…….film. I recently went through the process of scanning the hundreds of photos we had taken during the duration of the trip. In the process I glammed up a couple for printing by digitally inserting some blue skies from one shot into several in which the sky had blown out. I was pretty happy with the results overall!

A panorama photo of the Vatican taken in 2005 on our only trip to Rome, Italy with my Nikon N90 film camera. The image was created by holding the camera and snapping of five shots while using the precise and scientific “turn in a circle” method. The prints were then scanned and stitched together by hand in Photoshop.
